Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson Ready to Dominate the Night Race in Saudi Arabia

After a disappointing weekend in Bahrain, Isack Hadjar from Racing Bulls is geared up for the upcoming race in Saudi Arabia. The team is eager to secure their first points of the season in the night race in Jeddah. Hadjar, familiar with the Jeddah track from his past experiences in the junior category, is optimistic about the team’s performance. He expressed confidence in bouncing back from their recent setbacks and finding their pace again on the fast city circuit of Jeddah.

Hadjar shared his excitement about racing in Jeddah, a track he knows well from his time in F2, stating, “I am thrilled to race in Jeddah, returning to a track where I have previously competed in F2 and am familiar with. I was disappointed with the outcome last weekend, but I believe we can rediscover our rhythm in Jeddah.” The French driver is determined to replicate or even surpass the achievements of his compatriot Pierre Gasly, the only one to have scored points with Racing Bulls in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Liam Lawson is looking to turn his luck around after a challenging start to the season and a forgettable race weekend in Bahrain. The winner of the Sprint Race in F2 in 2021 is eager to hit the track in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the uniqueness and speed of the circuit. Lawson acknowledged the need for high commitment and confidence on the Jeddah track, which he has never raced on in Formula 1. Drawing from his recent experiences, Lawson is focused on maximizing performance and aiming for a strong finish in the upcoming race.

As Racing Bulls gear up for the night race in Saudi Arabia, both Hadjar and Lawson are determined to leave their mark on the fast and thrilling Jeddah circuit. With their eyes set on securing valuable points, the team is ready to showcase their potential and competitiveness under the night sky in Saudi Arabia.
