Radford Motors vai lançar série limitada do Type 62-2 Track Car Edition

The British company Radford Motors has announced that it will launch a special and limited edition of the Type 62-2 Track Car Edition, a model that won the 2023 edition of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb in the Exhibition Class category.

This Type 62-2 Track Car Edition is equipped with a carbon monocoque and a body that is 23 cm wider than the road model. In addition, Radford Motors has equipped this sports car with a specific subframe and several enhanced aerodynamic elements, including a front lip and a generously sized rear wing.

Equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 710 hp and weighing 861 kg, this Type 62-2 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.2 seconds and reaching a top speed of 257 km/h.

The British manufacturer has already announced that it will produce only 12 units of this sports car, and the model can be customized with one or two seats, as well as with left-hand or right-hand drive.

In addition, Radford allows customers to work with their team to customize the model for participation in sports events such as Pikes Peak or the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The price of this special edition of the Type 62-2 Track Car Edition has not been revealed by the brand, but it will certainly appeal to those who enjoy racing on the track.
