Racing Bulls in Turmoil: Will Lindblad Take Over Lawson’s Spot Soon?

In a shocking turn of events, former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has raised serious concerns about the future of Liam Lawson at Racing Bulls. With Lawson failing to score any points in the current 2025 season, his position within the team is hanging by a thread. Montoya even went as far as suggesting that rising star Arvid Lindblad could potentially replace Lawson if he doesn’t show immediate improvement on the track.

The pressure on Lawson has intensified as his rookie teammate Isack Hadjar has already secured five points, putting Lawson in a vulnerable position within the team. The Red Bull-backed driver is now facing intense scrutiny over his performance and his ability to retain his seat in the highly competitive world of Formula 1.

Speaking candidly to a Spanish media outlet, Montoya criticized Lawson’s lackluster performance, indicating that the young driver has failed to meet the expectations set for him. With Lindblad waiting in the wings and showcasing immense talent, Lawson’s days at Racing Bulls could be numbered if he doesn’t turn his season around quickly.

As rumors swirl and tensions rise within the team, all eyes are on Lawson to see if he can rise to the challenge or if Lindblad will indeed swoop in to take his place. The Formula 1 world is buzzing with anticipation as the drama unfolds at Racing Bulls, making it a team to watch closely in the upcoming races.
