Progressive Insurance has unveiled a new chapter in their sports sponsorship portfolio by partnering with the well-regarded Joe Gibbs Racing. The insurance giant will now serve as the primary sponsor for NASCAR star Denny Hamlin’s No. 11 Toyota. The collaboration is set to debut this weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, marking the first of 18 races where Progressive Insurance will be prominently featured on Hamlin’s vehicle.

Joe Gibbs, the owner of the racing team, expressed his elation over the partnership. “Progressive is a leading figure in the insurance sector and a national brand of high repute. We are ecstatic to have them collaborate with Denny and our No. 11 team,” Gibbs stated. He noted that NASCAR fans, known for their passion for mobility, stand to benefit from the raised awareness about Progressive’s comprehensive protection for their vehicles.

The association with Progressive Insurance comes as a breath of fresh air for Hamlin’s team, which saw FedEx, a long-time sponsor, part ways after the 2024 season. However, the void has been adequately filled as Progressive Insurance steps in alongside other new partners including National Debt Relief, King’s Hawaiian, and Ampm.

Sean Freeman, Progressive’s business leader of direct media, voiced his excitement about the new venture. “The chance to be part of the Joe Gibbs Racing family and support the distinguished NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin was an opportunity we could not pass up,” said Freeman. He added, “JGR’s commitment to excellence and Hamlin’s track record align perfectly with our marketing approach. We eagerly anticipate seeing the No. 11 car in action.”

Hamlin’s No. 11 Toyota, now sporting Progressive Insurance’s blue and white, will be on display at several upcoming races. These include the Martinsville Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Kansas Speedway, North Wilkesboro Speedway, Nashville Superspeedway, Pocono Raceway, Chicago, Dover Motor Speedway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen, Richmond Raceway, St. Louis, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Charlotte Roval, and Phoenix Raceway.

Hamlin shared his enthusiasm for the new partnership. “This is a monumental moment for our No. 11 team and the entire Joe Gibbs Racing. We are thrilled to have Progressive on board and are committed to delivering for them on and off the racetrack. I’m excited to work with a brand as innovative as Progressive, known for their unique marketing and activation approaches. I can’t wait to kick start this journey with them this weekend.”
