Defending world champion Austin Prock stole the show, claiming the No. 1 qualifier position alongside his teammate Jack Beckman, who dominated the Funny Car ranks.
Prock, known for his record-breaking performances, blazed down the track at a mind-blowing speed of 338.26mph, securing his 20th No. 1 position of his career. Beckman, on the other hand, showcased his prowess by winning the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge specialty race with a phenomenal run of 3.831s at 330.72mph in his PEAK Chevrolet Camaro SS.
The competition heated up as Shawn Langdon and Matt Hartford also emerged victorious in the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge in the Top Fuel and Pro Stock categories respectively. Langdon’s near-record run at 338.68mph left spectators in awe, while Hartford’s strategic 6.496s at 210.67mph sealed his second win in the specialty race.
