In the next MotoGP season in 2025, the rider market promises to be highly unpredictable. A significant number of riders, 18 out of a total of 22, will be without contracts until the end of the year. This includes past champions who are dissatisfied with their current teams or temporarily occupying spots until they secure a place in their 2024 teams. Additionally, there is uncertainty about which brand some satellite teams will align with in the upcoming season, further complicating the rider lineup. The unpredictability of the market sets the stage for an exciting and turbulent year in MotoGP.
However, our panel composed of Simon Patterson and Val Khorounzhiy is determined to improve their previous success rate of 50% in predicting the complete rider lineup one year in advance. They will present their arguments and cases for Matt Beer to judge. The panel aims to accurately predict the movements and decisions of riders in the market.
