He mentioned that Faustino has been involved in several tests and has experience with radio communication. Although there are certain adjustments to be made, such as counting down to the pit box and giving instructions, Power believes that their extensive racing experience together will help them overcome these challenges. He also noted that Ron usually handles race strategy, so the overall change will not be significant.
Losing Ron will certainly be disappointing for Power, as he has become accustomed to his reassuring presence and effective communication over the radio. Power is no stranger to success at IMS, having won five races at the road course and clinched victory at the 2018 Indy 500. He intends to draw on his past successes and use his experience to navigate these next two races without the familiar voice guiding him.
