Porsche Macan elétrico ganha versões de tração traseira e 4S com autonomia até 640 km

Porsche has decided to equip the electric SUV, Macan, with new technological features, highlighting the new driver assistance systems and digital resources, in order to elevate the user experience for both the driver and passengers to a new level.

In this way, the Surround View assistance system, including the Active Parking Support, for example, has been enhanced and is available as an option with new functions, such as Trained Parking and Reversing Assist.

The Active Parking Support utilizes four high-resolution cameras that provide a 360-degree view of the vehicle’s surroundings, as well as a view of cross traffic for greater convenience and a wider perspective during maneuvers.

Additionally, the Active Parking Assistance system detects suitable parking spaces and automatically takes over steering, as well as the forward and backward movements when parking in parallel or perpendicular spots.

The Trained Parking function can learn individual parking routines and execute them automatically. After a single manual operation, the vehicle recognizes a familiar environment – for example, the garage or parking space – and offers to take over the parking maneuver. The driver, however, remains in control at all times. The Trained Parking function can store up to five different parking routines.

The electric Macan now also features the Porsche Digital Key, which can be used through the iPhone, Apple Watch, and compatible Android devices. The system allows drivers to unlock or lock the Macan’s doors and start the electric SUV using NFC technology, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and Ultra-Wideband (UWB). Users also gain the option to share the key via Apple Wallet or an Android wallet app, through Apple Mail, Messages, WhatsApp, and other functions, with up to seven users, who can decide whether access is only for entering and exiting the vehicle or also for driving it.

Note also the App Center that allows transforming the Macan into an entertainment hub with new possibilities, whether streaming music, podcasts, games, or movies, users have access to an increasingly larger selection of third-party applications that can be perfectly integrated into the Porsche ecosystem.

On its part, the passenger screen, available as an option, allows applications to be used simultaneously, even while driving, without causing distraction to the driver. In combination with a Bluetooth headset, a disturbance-free listening experience is possible.

The Porsche Charging Planner has also been similarly enhanced, now allowing charging stations and providers to be prioritized or avoided in a more targeted manner. Finally, practicality has also been improved with the increase of the maximum towing capacity for all all-wheel drive models by 500 kg, reaching a new maximum of 2,500 kg.
