Porsche aperfeiçoa o visual das variantes Turbo

The Porsche has decided to enhance the appearance of the Turbo variants in order to create a more pronounced differentiation between the top-of-the-range high-performance models.

In this sense, the Turbo models, for example, will now sport an exclusive version of the Porsche Shield, which is more modern and dominated by the new Turbonite color instead of the legendary gold.

Developed by Porsche Color & Trim specialists, the gold elements create an elegant and metallic effect, with the top layer having a contrasting satin finish. The designation on the rear and the Daylight Opening (DLO), as well as the side window trims, will receive this Turbonite finish on the Turbo models.

Depending on the series of models, other details, such as the inserts on the front bumper, the arms, or the wheel aeroblades, may also feature the Turbonite paint. The new color also dominates the Porsche Shield on the front, as well as the centers of the alloy wheels and the steering wheel.

In addition, selected elements in the interior, such as decorative trims and seat belts, as well as a series of controls, including the driving mode selector and the air conditioning control panel, will also be provided with the new visual.

Porsche has revealed, however, that this differentiation depends on the series of models. In combination with the Black interior, the Turbonite color is also used as a contrasting color for the seats, door panel finishes, instrument panel, and floor mats.

“In 1974, we introduced the first 911 with a turbocharger. Since then, the Turbo has become synonymous with our top-of-the-range high-performance models and is now more or less its own brand. We want to make the Turbo even more visible and differentiate it more prominently from other versions, such as the GTS,” explains Michael Mauer, Vice President of Style Porsche.

The Stuttgart brand has announced that it will gradually introduce this differentiation in all series of models, and that it will be up to the new generation of the Panamera, which will be presented on November 24th, to begin the introduction of the new elements.
