Polestar is preparing to introduce Google Gemini technology, a voice assistant supported by artificial intelligence, across all models in its range, a system that is nothing more than a significant evolution of Google Assistant. The Swedish brand, owned by the Chinese company Geely, in partnership with the American technology “giant,” equipped a unit of the Polestar 5 with this new feature and showcased it during “Slush” in Helsinki, Finland.
Soon, all models from the Gothenburg-based company coming off the production line will feature Google Gemini, but those already in circulation will also benefit from this solution through remote automatic software updates. The integration of generative artificial intelligence, the brand announces, allows for increasingly natural “conversations” with the car’s infotainment system.

“Our collaboration with Google confirms that we are committed to advancing the digital experience aboard all Polestars, and the Gemini system is the future of voice interaction, as it features artificial intelligence. This technology will greatly enhance the driving experience,” promised Sid Odedra, the brand’s representative. Owners of Polestar models will be able to experience the Gemini voice assistant starting in 2026, but initially, it will only be available in U.S. English.
