Polestar Energy já está disponível em 11 mercados europeus

Polestar Energy, the smartest, most efficient, and cost-effective home charging service for electric vehicles, is now available in 11 European markets and will arrive in Portugal in the second half of 2025.

After a successful pilot program in the United Kingdom, Belgium and Switzerland will now benefit from the full offering of Polestar Energy, while customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Spain can take advantage of smart charging and solar energy.

Through the Polestar Energy app, customers set when they want to use the vehicle and the desired charge level, and smart charging takes care of the rest—charging the car at the most advantageous times for the electrical grid.

By balancing demand and charging when demand is lower, energy costs become lower, either directly in the form of a reward from the grid or as a reduction in the electricity bill.

Polestar announced that in some markets, the reduction in charging costs can reach 30%, with annual savings of around €300.

“As the only global premium electric vehicle brand, it is important to offer our customers a charging solution that is so attractive that it makes the use of our vehicles simpler and more economical. A savings of 30% on home charging costs can make a big difference, which is why we are expanding this offering on a large scale, with more markets being added this year. When we introduce vehicle-to-grid capabilities in the Polestar range, we will provide even more value to our customers.” said Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar.
