The Polestar 3, a 100% electric model from the Swedish brand of the Chinese consortium Geely, has won the largest independent winter range test.
To achieve this, the Polestar 3 covered a total of 531 km under challenging conditions typical of Norway at this time of year, surpassing 23 competitors that participated in the 2025 edition of the event, which measures the real distance vehicles can travel on a single charge compared to the official WLTP range.
The course of the “El Prix” event, organized by the Norwegian Automobile Federation and the publication “Motor”, includes a climb of about 1,000 meters, which was particularly challenging for participants this year due to wet and slippery road conditions, despite milder temperatures than in previous editions.
The unit used for the Polestar 3 was a Long Range Dual Motor version equipped with the Performance Pack, achieving a range of 531 km, which is 5% below the homologated WLTP range of 561 km.
“We are proud of yet another victory for the Polestar 3 in a major event! It is a luxury in an exceptional SUV. We develop our vehicles above the Arctic Circle in Sweden, so it does not surprise us that the Polestar 3 outperforms the competition in challenging conditions,” said Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar.
