With the end of the year 2023 closer, Pirelli maintains the tradition and presented the 2024 edition of its famous calendar, entitled Timeless, and claims those people who have been abandoned and called to inspire the new generations.
This 2024 edition of ‘The Cal’, with photos by Ghanaian photographer Prince Gyasi, is the last of the 39 artists who created a Pirelli calendar in the 60 years of history, and his work constitutes the 50th edition.
Prince Gyasi is one of the youngest artists ever appointed to author the calendar, and the published images celebrate colorful Africa, his childhood, and the people who have inspired him throughout his 28 years of life.
Many of the photos were taken in the city of London, creating specific scenarios for the occasion, and among those photographed are Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress Tiwa Savage, former footballer and entrepreneur Marcel Desailly, singer, actress, and artist Teyana Taylor, as well as the King of Asante (West African empire), Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
