Pierre-Louis Loubet’s Shocking Withdrawal from Rally Italy Sardinia

French rally driver Pierre-Louis Loubet has sent shockwaves through the motorsport world by announcing his withdrawal from Rally Italy Sardinia after a terrifying crash during the reconnaissance. The incident left his co-driver Loris Pascaud injured and unable to compete, dealing a major blow to their participation in the event.

Loubet, who was set to compete in his second WRC2 event of the season, was forced to pull out of the rally following the unfortunate accident. In a social media statement, a disappointed Loubet revealed, “Unfortunately we won’t be starting Rally Sardinia. We had an accident during the recce, and Loris was injured in the process.”

While assuring fans that Pascaud’s injuries were not severe, Loubet expressed his disappointment at missing out on the event, stating, “Of course, we’re disappointed, I really enjoy this event, but health comes first and we’ll be back stronger. Thanks a lot for your support and see you soon.”

The setback at Rally Italy Sardinia has put a temporary halt to Loubet’s WRC campaign, but the determined driver is already looking ahead to his next challenge. Loubet is scheduled to make his return at the Acropolis Rally Greece in three weeks, where he will be aiming to put the incident behind him and make a strong comeback on the competitive stage.
