Pierre Gasly Slammed as ‘Idiot’ in Fiery Monaco GP Collision with Yuki Tsunoda

A shocking incident unfolded at the Monaco Grand Prix as Pierre Gasly was labeled “an idiot” by his fellow driver Yuki Tsunoda after a disastrous collision between the two competitors. Gasly’s race came to a sudden halt on Lap 9 at the Nouvelle chicane when he lost control of his Alpine under braking, crashing into the back of Tsunoda’s Red Bull.

The impact was so severe that it resulted in the destruction of Gasly’s front wing and the snapping off of Tsunoda’s rear wing, prompting the deployment of the virtual safety car. Despite managing to make his way back to the pits, Gasly was immediately under scrutiny by the race stewards for causing the collision. A formal investigation into the incident was scheduled to take place post-race, casting a shadow of controversy over Gasly’s actions on the track.

Meanwhile, the race continued with Lando Norris leading the pack on Lap 14, closely followed by Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri. As Tsunoda struggled in 15th place following the collision, the aftermath of the dramatic event left fans and experts alike stunned by the clash between Gasly and Tsunoda, further igniting tensions in the high-stakes world of Formula 1.
