In a shocking turn of events, Alpine F1 team has dropped a bombshell by officially announcing that star driver Pierre Gasly will be starting from the pit-lane in the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix. This unexpected move comes after Gasly’s dismal performance in the qualifying session in Montreal, where he was initially slated to begin the race from P19 on the grid.

The F1 frenzy doesn’t end there, as Red Bull’s Yuki Tsunoda, who was supposed to start behind Gasly, has been hit with a major 10-place penalty, pushing him to the back of the grid. However, the drama escalated when Alpine disclosed that last-minute alterations to Gasly’s car have forced him even further back, setting the stage for a nail-biting race.

The team’s official statement revealed, “Pierre will start today’s Canadian Grand Prix from the pit-lane after the team took his car out of parc ferme conditions.” This strategic decision, though risky, could potentially work in Gasly’s favor as he aims to make significant strides from his disadvantaged starting position.

Parc ferme rules, which restrict modifications to cars during a race weekend, played a crucial role in Alpine’s daring choice. With Gasly originally set to kick off the race from P19, only Tsunoda stood between him and the bottom of the grid. However, with this last-minute twist, all eyes are now on Gasly and his team as they navigate this challenging setback in pursuit of glory.

As the tension mounts and the countdown to the Canadian Grand Prix begins, fans and critics alike are bracing themselves for a spectacle unlike any other. Will Gasly defy the odds and carve his way through the pack from the pit-lane? Only time will tell in this high-stakes showdown on the track.

Stay tuned for more updates on this gripping development as the race unfolds, and the drivers rev up for a showdown of epic proportions at the Canadian Grand Prix.
