Alessandro Pier Guidi, driver from Ferrari AF Corse team, expressed his belief that the upcoming race in Imola may be more favorable for the Italian manufacturer compared to their performance in Qatar. He acknowledged that, although on paper their performance should be better, they will only know for sure once they start driving. Pier Guidi, along with his teammates James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi, finished the race in Qatar in 12th place, outside of the points. He emphasized the importance of avoiding mistakes and scoring points in the next race. Pier Guidi also mentioned that Imola is a challenging track, with few overtaking opportunities, making qualifying crucial. He acknowledged that Ferrari tested at Imola in November, although the conditions were not ideal. Pier Guidi also commented on the low temperature and the impact it may have on tire choice for the race.
