Rolls-Royce Motor Cars celebrated the centenary of the Phantom, the brand’s most famous name, at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, Italy, which took place in Italy.
The British brand chose this exclusive event for the world premiere of the Phantom Goldfinger, which was presented on the famous Mosaic Lawn of the Grand Hotel, on the shores of Lake Como.

The impressive Phantom Extended, unique in the world, pays tribute to the 1964 James Bond film, Goldfinger, one of the twelve appearances of Rolls-Royce in the films of the famous spy in the service of Her Majesty.
Revealed in 2024, the year of the 60th anniversary of the famous 007 film, the Phantom Goldfinger is inspired by the 1937 Phantom III Sedanca de Ville, owned by the film’s villain, Auric Goldfinger, who was also showcased at the event.

The story of this car and the film is masterfully explored by Rolls-Royce in the Phantom Goldfinger, which includes details in 18 and 24-carat gold, cinematic references, and complex narrative elements inspired by the characters, locations, and themes of the film.
With a bicolor yellow and black exterior, this unique Phantom reflects the film model, even in the license plate number, “AU1” – a reference to the chemical symbol for gold. Every detail is intentional: the Spirit of Ecstasy shines with a gold coating, while the speakers, air vents, and vehicle consoles are lined with gold.

Inside, the details are truly worthy of James Bond. Rolls-Royce technicians took a year of work to create a 3D stainless steel inlay on the dashboard that represents the Furka Pass in Switzerland, where Bond’s thrilling chase of Goldfinger was filmed. Additionally, the roof is lined with Starlight that recreates the night sky over the Furka Pass on July 11, 1964, the last day of filming – complete with golden stars.
