Peugeot revela “teaser” do Polygon, o concept que antecipa o futuro 208

Peugeot has begun the countdown to the presentation of a new concept, the Polygon, which will anticipate the future of technology and design for the French brand’s smaller models.

The new generation of the 208 promises to be the first model from the French brand to utilize the new Polygon concept, which aims to offer a more technological interior, starting with a new version of Peugeot’s rectangular Hypersquare steering wheel, featuring a more radical design similar to what was first presented in the Inception in 2023.

The Hypersquare will also debut an electronic steering system, a technology that will be used for the first time in a Stellantis model. “The new concept will thus reveal elements that Peugeot may use in a future B-segment model”, said Alain Favey, CEO of the French brand, in an interview with “Auto Express.”

The Polygon promises to adopt a “floating” 21’’ screen, which appears to be the same infotainment unit used in the 3008, suggesting that the interior of the new concept may be close to production specifications.

Little more is known about the Polygon, but the CEO of Peugeot has already stated that “the designers have worked on many creative ideas that we will share in the coming weeks.”

While not revealing the Polygon, which will anticipate the future direction of Peugeot, the French brand has unveiled a “teaser” of what it describes as the future of driving pleasure.
