Peugeot renova gama de comerciais ligeiros 100% elétricos

Peugeot has decided to simultaneously renew its entire range of light commercial vehicles. “More efficient and effective than ever,” according to the brand, the new E-Partner, E-Expert, and E-Boxer are part of the total electrification strategy of the French manufacturer’s range.

Essential elements of Peugeot’s Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) range, these models are also key assets for the brand’s commitment to offer an electric version of each model in its range by 2025, in order to become 100% electric by 2030 in Europe.

In this way, the new E-Partner now comes with a renewed design, featuring a new front grille with the Peugeot emblem, a modernized bumper, and new headlights with the brand’s iconic 3-claw lighting signature.

In the interior, there is a new dashboard and superior quality finish, while the Peugeot i-Cockpit features a new 10-inch high-definition touchscreen in its upper central section.

It is worth noting that the steering wheel integrates controls for managing the audio system, cruise control, and paddles for regenerative braking levels, as well as seats upholstered in a new fabric that the brand claims is more resistant and elegant.

In terms of powertrain, the E-Partner is equipped with a 100% electric motor that offers a maximum power of 136 hp and a torque of 270 Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 130 km/h.

Powering the electric motor is a 50 kWh battery that now reaches 330 km of range (WLTP mixed cycle; under homologation). To optimize range, the new E-Partner is equipped with a regenerative braking system that can be activated in three different regeneration levels, through the paddles located behind the steering wheel.

Another novelty is a heat pump that increases passenger comfort, contributing to efficiency and, consequently, to range.

Equipped with a 7.4 kW onboard charger and, optionally, an 11 kW three-phase charger, the E-Partner allows for efficient charging, regardless of the available infrastructure. Fast DC charging offers 100 kW.

The installation of the batteries under the floor preserves the payload volume of up to 4.4 m3, in a model that is the reference in terms of payload capacity, at 780 kg, and towing weight, at 750 kg.

As for the E-Expert, a reference in the segment of compact 100% electric vans, it now takes a new step forward, both in terms of design and technology.

Peugeot has revealed that this model benefits from an electric motor with 136 hp and a maximum torque of 260 Nm, for a top speed of 130 km/h. Three driving modes are available: Eco, to maximize autonomy, Power, for maximum performance at full load, and Normal.

To meet everyone’s needs, Peugeot offers two types of batteries in the new E-Expert, which is available in Standard and Long chassis. A 50 kWh battery offers up to 224 km of autonomy, and a 75 kWh battery offers up to 350 km of autonomy.

To optimize autonomy, the new E-Expert is equipped with a regenerative braking system that can be activated at three different levels.

With a 7.4 kW onboard charger and, optionally, an 11 kW three-phase charger, the new E-Expert can be charged, regardless of the available infrastructure, with fast charging in direct current offering 100 kW of power.

The new Peugeot E-Expert has a maximum useful volume of 6.6 m3, a payload of 1,263 kg, and a towable weight of 1,000 kg. In addition, it allows easy access to urban centers thanks to its turning radius of 12.4 meters between curbs (Standard version), and its limited height of 1.90 m, which allows it to enter any parking lot.

This renovation of Peugeot’s light commercial vehicles also includes the E-Boxer, which now comes with a unique 100% electric motor with 270 hp power and 400 Nm of torque, while maintaining the qualities that underline its success in the European market.

The electric motor is powered by a 110 kWh capacity battery, which provides a range of 420 km. Equipped with an onboard 11 kW three-phase charger, the E-Boxer can be charged in direct current up to 150 kW, taking 55 minutes to charge from 0 to 80% battery capacity. In an 11 kW wall-box, full recharge is completed in 11 hours and 45 minutes.

The new Peugeot E-Boxer is equipped with new fully LED headlights and redesigned taillights, and like the rest of the range, it features the brand’s new emblem.

The interior has undergone a profound redesign, with a new design applied to the steering wheel, instrument cluster, dashboard, seat fabrics, and door panels.

The new Peugeot E-Boxer is available in various versions. With two wheelbase distances (3.45 m and 4.04 m), the vans are available in two lengths (L2 and L4) for a total of four silhouettes that offer between 13 and 17 m3. As a working base for specific transformations, the E-Boxer with a 4.04 m wheelbase is also available in a single cab L3 or L4 chassis, and in a double cab L3 or L4 chassis.
