Peugeot has already confirmed that it will launch a GTi version of the fully electric E-208, marking the return of the historic line of high-performance models from the French brand.
The French brand has now confirmed that the presentation of the new GTi model will take place next Friday, June 13, at the Circuit de La Sarthe, home of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The new E-208 GTi will be the first electric vehicle from the French brand since the 308 GTi launched in 2021, and it promises to reconnect with its past and history, as well as establish a link between its road models and its participation in the World Endurance Championship.
Little is known about the new E-208 GTi, but it would not be surprising if it were to use the same powertrain currently employed by the Abarth 600e, or the Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce, as well as the upcoming Opel Mokka GSE.
