Peugeot has announced that it will present the Long Range variants of the electric E-3008 and E-5008 at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, with official WLTP ranges of 700 km and 668 km respectively.
For the Long Range versions, Peugeot offers a 230 hp engine with a usable 96.9 kW battery. This new powertrain complements the current offerings of the E-3008 and E-5008 ranges, which include a 210 hp powertrain that provides up to 527 km (E-3008) or up to 502 km (E-5008) of range.
The new Long Range variants of the E-3008 and E-5008 also improve charging times in Mode 4, accepting up to 160 kW of power at superchargers, with 27 minutes needed to charge from 20% to 80%, or 150 km of range in just 10 minutes.
In practice, the 700 km range of the Peugeot E-3008 Electric 230 Long Range allows for a trip from Paris to Nice with just two stops, compared to at least three for all its competitors.
Additionally, the E-5008 Long Range becomes the only 100% electric SUV that offers interior space capable of accommodating up to 7 passengers, with an electric range of up to 668 km.
With the launch of these new versions, the two 100% electric SUVs from the Sochaux brand now benefit from a new battery pre-conditioning system, which optimizes charging times during long trips.
As with the entire range of 100% electric Peugeot vehicles, the new E-3008 and E-5008 Electric benefit from the Peugeot Allure Care program, a warranty that covers the entire vehicle (including the electric motor, charger, transmission, and key electrical and mechanical components) for up to 8 years or 160,000 km.
