Fourteen-time Isle of Man TT champion Peter Hickman found himself in a terrifying crash during a qualifying session, sending shockwaves through the racing world. The 8Ten Racing BMW rider suffered injuries in the incident that occurred at Kerrowmoar, causing red flags to halt the practice.
Despite the harrowing crash, reports from TT organizers indicated that Hickman was ‘conscious and stable’ after the fall. The mishap occurred during the second session of the day, with Honda Racing’s Dean Harrison leading the practice as Hickman followed closely behind on his superstock machine.
