Paul Miller Racing, a staple in IMSA’s GTD category, has confirmed its expansion to a two-car entry for the 2025 IMSA SportsCar Championship in the GTD Pro class. The team, renowned for its consistent performances and recent successes, will add a second BMW M4 GT3 EVO to its lineup, marking a significant step forward as BMW debuts the updated version of the car.
The decision comes after a strong inaugural season in the GTD Pro class, where the team’s #1 BMW M4 GT3, driven by Madison Snow and Bryan Sellers, secured a victory at VIRginia International Raceway. The duo also had a record-breaking season in 2024, claiming five wins and earning the team the GTD championship title.
“This is a pretty momentous day for all of us at the team,” said team owner Paul Miller. “We’ve been a one-car operation since the team’s formation, but it’s very exciting for everyone to be in a position where we can run two cars – and in the top GT class, no less.”
Team manager Mitchell Simmons echoed the enthusiasm, stating, “Twenty-twenty-five will mark a rebirth of Paul Miller Racing. With the addition of another GTD PRO car, we will enter the 2025 season as a two-car Pro effort for the first time in history. We would like to thank Andreas Roos (Head of BMW M Motorsport) and his amazing crew for helping make this happen.”
The team’s success with the BMW M4 GT3 came after a long stint with the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 from 2016 to 2021. Snow and Sellers, who have raced together for nine consecutive IMSA seasons, have been instrumental in the team’s achievements. However, 2024 will mark the end of their partnership, as Sellers is set to take on a new role as program manager for DXDT Racing, which runs Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs in the GT World Challenge America series.
Neil Verhagen will join the team as the Endurance Cup driver, completing the lineup for the final race of the season at the iconic Petit Le Mans.
With its expanded lineup and continued collaboration with BMW, Paul Miller Racing aims to bring home another championship in 2025, further solidifying its place as one of IMSA’s top contenders.
