The opulent EKO Lux Coach, rented from King Kong Production Vehicles, was meant to be her stylish base during the shoot for her new single, “Bad B***h Academy.” However, an electrical malfunction turned the trailer into a charred wreck, taking with it a slew of designer goods, promotional items, and Paris’s dreams of a glamorous shoot. Despite the setback, Paris remains focused on her upcoming album release, Infinite Icon, due out in September.
The trailer, which was equipped with every luxury imaginable, was only briefly used before disaster struck. The fire started on the second day of filming, quickly consuming the interior and reducing the once-lavish space to a smoldering ruin. Paris took to Instagram to share the aftermath, revealing the extensive damage and the loss of countless personal items.
“Some electrical malfunction,” Paris explained in her Instagram Stories, as she showed her followers the destruction. The once-pristine white leather couches were reduced to ash, and the custom decorations—pink blankets, designer items, and even prototype products from her various lines—were nothing more than unrecognizable debris. Despite the devastation, Paris maintained her signature composure, though she admitted the smell inside the trailer was “disgusting” and compared it to a horror movie set.
The EKO Lux Coach, known for its eco-friendly design and high-end features, was one of the most luxurious trailers in King Kong Production Vehicles’ fleet. The dual slide-out coach was packed with green materials like recycled plastic bottle carpets and eco-friendly leather furniture. It offered three lounge areas, a professional-grade makeup station, and enough space to accommodate a large entourage.
Paris’s unfortunate incident is a rare blip in the otherwise stellar reputation of King Kong Production Vehicles, who have become the go-to for A-list celebrities requiring luxury on the go. Previously, pop star Olivia Rodrigo rented a similar unit for her music video shoot, showcasing the level of extravagance these vehicles offer.
While King Kong Production Vehicles has yet to comment on the fire, the loss hasn’t dimmed Paris Hilton’s determination. With Infinite Icon set for release on September 6, she’s looking forward to bouncing back from the setback, even if it means shooting her next video in a slightly less glamorous setting.
