Alex Palou, the reigning champion of the NTT IndyCar Series for Chip Ganassi Racing, will be making his debut appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year. Palou will be joining the team as part of their factory Cadillac Racing hybrid GTP program. Expressing his enthusiasm, Palou mentioned that participating and winning at Le Mans has always been a lifelong aspiration of his, considering it one of the most prestigious races alongside the Indianapolis 500 and Daytona.

Palou will be taking over the driving duties of CGR’s FIA World Endurance Championship No. 2 Cadillac V-Series.R at Circuit de la Sarthe, replacing Richard Westbrook who has moved to JDC-Miller Motorsports. Alongside Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn, who achieved success at Le Mans last year, Palou is eager to compete and aim for victory. Having shown strong performance at Daytona recently, Palou is excited about the opportunity to secure a win at Le Mans.

He highlighted their third and fourth-place finishes in 2023 as proof of their readiness to compete on the global stage.
