In a thrilling display of speed and skill, Alex Palou of Chip Ganassi Racing-Honda dominated the final IndyCar test session, leaving his competitors in the dust as he gears up for the upcoming Indianapolis 500. The three-time and defending champion set the pace with a blistering 223.993mph lap, showcasing his prowess on the iconic 2.5-mile Speedway.

Palou’s impressive performance came amidst a flurry of action on the track, with drivers pushing themselves to the limit in preparation for the highly anticipated race. From Kyle Kirkwood’s early track appearance to Marco Andretti’s brief moment at the top, the session was filled with adrenaline-fueled moments and fierce competition.

As the session progressed, seasoned drivers like Scott Dixon and Helio Castroneves made their mark, trading the lead and pushing the boundaries of speed. The intensity peaked when Rinus Veekay’s car experienced fuel issues, causing a heart-stopping moment for Pato O’Ward as he navigated around the stricken vehicle.

Amidst the excitement, Felix Rosenqvist emerged as a dark horse, climbing the ranks to claim the second spot with an impressive 223.366mph effort.
