In a shocking turn of events, Oscar Piastri sends a bold message to his competitors following the FIA’s ruling on alleged McLaren trickery at the Miami Grand Prix. The young driver expressed his unwavering confidence as his McLaren MCL39 underwent rigorous scrutiny by the FIA after his impressive victory.

Piastri clinched his fourth Grand Prix win of the F1 2025 season in Miami, outshining Max Verstappen and leading teammate Lando Norris to a remarkable McLaren 1-2 finish. Despite suspicions raised by Red Bull regarding potential trickery with McLaren’s rear brakes, Piastri’s car was randomly selected by the FIA for thorough post-race testing, which it passed without any violations.

The FIA confirmed that all components of Piastri’s car were in full compliance with the 2025 Formula One Technical Regulations, putting an end to any doubts surrounding McLaren’s performance. Piastri himself remained unfazed by the scrutiny, stating, “I had no concerns. Play on!”

Heading into the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on a winning streak, Piastri is on the cusp of making Formula 1 history by aiming to secure his fourth consecutive victory. With a comfortable lead in the Drivers’ Championship, the 24-year-old driver is focused on adding more wins to his impressive record rather than worrying about the title race.

Meanwhile, Piastri’s teammate Norris acknowledged McLaren’s superiority on race day, attributing their success to more than just tire management. He emphasized the team’s holistic approach to car performance and highlighted the importance of continuous improvement to stay ahead in the competitive Formula 1 landscape.

As McLaren continues to dominate the F1 circuit, their rivals are left scrambling to close the gap and challenge the team’s Sunday supremacy. With unpredictable competition unfolding each race weekend, McLaren remains steadfast in their pursuit of excellence and ongoing development to maintain their edge in the relentless world of Formula 1.
