In a thrilling anticipation of the F1 Grand Prix in Austria, drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri share their ambitions and determination for the upcoming race weekend.

Lando Norris, eager to erase the memory of his unfortunate incident in Canada, sets his sights on the Red Bull Ring, a track where he cherishes sweet memories. With his first career podium achieved here, Norris is determined to make a strong comeback and secure significant results. The Briton expresses his excitement, stating, “I can’t wait to race in Austria this week. It’s a circuit with great memories for me, and it marks the beginning of another double-header. I’ve worked hard to prepare with the team, spending time at the factory with my engineers. Now it’s time to take this information to the track and work hard to achieve important results.”

On the other hand, Oscar Piastri approaches the Red Bull Ring as the championship leader, fueled by his recent success in Canada. With a clear goal of surpassing his second-place finish in 2024, Piastri is determined to kick off the European leg of the season on the right foot. The talented driver expresses his eagerness, saying, “I want to start this series of European races on the right foot, attacking. It’s a short but fun track to drive, and I enjoy the combination of straights and fast downhill corners. The team is doing a great job, and I can’t wait to get in the car.”

Adding to the excitement, McLaren will also have Alex Dunne making his Formula 1 debut during the weekend, further intensifying the competition on the track. With both Norris and Piastri eyeing success at the iconic Red Bull Ring, fans can expect a weekend filled with adrenaline-pumping action and fierce battles on the circuit.
