In a scorching showdown at the Spanish Grand Prix, Oscar Piastri steals the spotlight, dominating Practice Two for McLaren as Ferrari falters under new wing regulations. McLaren proves their mettle as Piastri smashes the weekend’s best time, leaving rivals in the dust with a blistering 1:12.760 lap time. The intensity continues as George Russell from Mercedes chases in second place, trailing Piastri by nearly three tenths of a second.

As tensions rise on the track, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen secures third place, while Lando Norris follows closely behind. However, Ferrari faces a tumultuous time, struggling to find their footing with Charles Leclerc landing in fifth place. Lewis Hamilton’s woes deepen as he battles an “undriveable” SF-25, finishing a disappointing 11th.

Amidst discussions about stricter wing regulations, McLaren emerges as the frontrunner, with Piastri and Norris poised for a title duel. Verstappen remains a formidable threat, keeping McLaren on their toes with a strong showing in Friday’s sessions. Ferrari’s hopes of a resurgence are dashed, with the team failing to capitalize on the rule changes as anticipated.
