Piastri’s path to the championship is fraught with uncertainty. He needs not only to triumph in the next two races but also for both Norris and Max Verstappen—who is currently just 12 points behind Piastri—to face setbacks. “It is an outside chance now,” he admitted, highlighting the precarious nature of his title aspirations. “I need things outside of my control to also happen.”

While he admits that the current situation may alleviate some pressure, it does nothing to extinguish his fierce desire to excel. “I want to win the next two races. But that’s all I can do,” he reiterated, emphasizing his commitment to performing at his best.
