Opel has announced that it will participate in the Wörthersee tuning festival in Austria and has reserved a special world premiere for this event, which takes place from May 28 to June 1.
The “XS Carnight” is synonymous with unique cars and show cars that make the hearts of fans race faster. This year, the legendary tuning festival returns to Lake Wörthersee with Opel once again playing an important role with its own space, numerous highlights, and a world premiere that will be revealed on May 30.

Without ever revealing what it is, the brand with the “Blitz” says that “it will be bold, robust, and extraordinary in every aspect”.
Among the confirmed models are two Astra with XS design: the hatchback version and the Sports Tourer. In addition, the German brand will showcase numerous privately modified vehicles that have been altered with great attention to detail.
It is worth noting that Wörthersee gained notoriety as the location for the annual gathering of VW fans, who organized the “Wörthersee GTI Treffen,” an event that has the official participation of the German brand.

However, the event ultimately changed to “Wolfsburg” in 2024, after the Austrian regional authorities decided that it did not align with the spirit of sustainability that Wörthersee aimed to implement.
