After presenting the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo at the Munich Motor Show, Opel is now preparing to unveil the new concept car at the second round of the Gran Turismo World Series, which will take place on September 20, at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, Germany, an event that brings together the gaming community.
The Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo will thus be in the spotlight as the best Gran Turismo gamers in the world compete, while they await the model’s debut in the game.
It is worth noting that the concept car from the Rüsselsheim brand features two electric motors with a total power of 476 hp, one on each axle, for a combined power of 800 hp.
Permanent all-wheel drive improves grip, maneuverability, and overall vehicle stability, and combined with a single-speed transmission, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2 seconds and can reach a top speed of 320 km/h.
This performance is accompanied by a design similar to that of the Corsa, lower and considerably wider, with sharp and precise lines, combined with technical and machined details, along with various aerodynamic solutions, notably the curtains in front of the front and rear wheel arches, with the wheel arch extensions in black, which ensure a smoother airflow, thus improving the vehicle’s maneuverability at high speeds.
In addition, the aerodynamic wheels increase efficiency by reducing air turbulence in the wheel wells, while the active aerodynamic diffuser and active spoiler help to increase or decrease downforce, depending on the driving situation.
