Opel has officially confirmed its participation in IAAA Mobility 2025, one of the largest mobility events in the world, which will take place in Munich, Germany, from September 9 to 14.
The mobility event was the chosen stage for Opel to present the Opel Experimental in 2023, the concept car from the Rüsselsheim design center, which points to the future of the German brand.
Many elements presented for the first time in the Experimental have since been introduced in the new Grandland. The new 3D Vizor integrates the Opel Blitz, illuminated for the first time, and the innovative “Edge Light” technology.
“IAA Mobility 2025 provides us with the perfect platform to showcase the new emotional and electrifying Opel models. We have already made a battery electric version available for each model in our range. Additionally, we propose other interesting and zero-emission solutions, such as hydrogen fuel cell propulsion for our light commercial vehicles, Vivaro and Movano. Obviously, we have a long tradition at the IAA. We were the first European car manufacturer to present a ‘concept car’ exactly 60 years ago – so stay tuned,” said Opel CEO Florian Huettl.
