Opel has just announced the opening of the ordering period for the new Astra Sports Tourer Electric in the national market with prices starting at €41,070.
Powered by a state-of-the-art engine from the Stellantis Group, capable of delivering 156 hp and 270 Nm, the engine is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 54 kWh (50.8 kWh usable), which guarantees an average homologated range in the combined WLTP cycle of 436 km.
The battery located at the bottom of the body can be charged through the standard included 11 kW three-phase onboard charger, which is able to recover up to 80% of the capacity in about 30 minutes at 100 kW fast charging stations. With a length of 4.64 meters, a width of 1.86 meters, and a height of 1.48 meters, the 100% electric Astra Sports Tourer offers 516 liters of trunk space, which can reach 1,553 liters with the seats folded down.

The interior features ergonomic Active Sport seats, optionally available in Alcantara, which offer good lateral support and a wide range of manual and electric adjustment options. Also noteworthy is the fully digital Pure Panel with two large 10-inch panoramic screens.
The latest generation of this intuitive human-machine interface displays all important functions, such as battery charge status or range, while important settings, such as climate control, can still be easily adjusted at the touch of a button. With the large E-HUD heads-up display and natural voice recognition, the driver’s eyes can stay focused on the road and traffic.

The new Opel Astra Sports Tourer Electric also features a wide range of driving assistance systems, from front collision warning with automatic emergency braking to active lane assist, as well as drowsiness detection, rear cross traffic alert, and semi-automatic lane change.
Opel has already announced that the first units of the 100% electric Astra Sports Tourer will hit the market in the first quarter of 2024.
