One of the youngest brands in the market, created in 2018, and the first completely new one launched by the VW Group, Cupra has just produced its millionth car, confirming itself as one of the fastest-growing brands in the European market. The “honor” of this achievement went to a model of the most emblematic and successful vehicle from the Spanish manufacturer (and also the first one fully conceived and developed by it), in this case, a Formentor e-Hybrid in Magnetic Tech matte color, with a plug-in hybrid engine of 272 hp.
To mark this historic milestone, and as a gesture to recognize and thank the people who made its growth possible, Cupra decided to raffle off a similar car among all the company’s employees, with the lucky winner being able to use it for three years. This is because, having special significance for the brand, after this period, the vehicle will become part of the historical collection of the Catalan manufacturer, symbolizing a key moment in the brand’s journey.
It is worth noting that the offerings from the Martorell house also include the Ateca (the first model to use the Cupra emblem); the Leon; the Born (its first 100% electric model), the Tavascan, and the Terramar. In 2026, the lineup will be expanded with the Raval, a model that promises to be a turning point for Cupra, as its mission is to make electric mobility more accessible to a new generation of drivers, without sacrificing excitement or performance.
