BYD continues to grow in China… and in export markets. In this second case, repeating the figures recorded in November, the Chinese brand is preparing to exceed, in 2025, the “threshold” of one million cars sent outside its country of origin, which will constitute a historical record!
According to the latest data from the Chinese automotive industry, BYD exported 128,067 electric and plug-in hybrid cars in the penultimate month of the year, representing an exponential growth (313.4%!) compared to November 2024 – and also 60% more than in October 2025. Thus, after eleven months in 2025, BYD has accumulated 878,498 units exported, 144% more than in the same period of 2024.
This brand was indeed the second among Chinese companies that grew the most in November of this year regarding exports, surpassed only by Chery, with 135,190 units. However, in percentage terms, the first position goes to Leapmotor (Stellantis), with over 600% (still, “only” 9,348 vehicles exported in November).
In accumulated exports from January to November, Chery also leads, with 1.188 million units. BYD is second in this ranking, and Leapmotor stands out with an increase in exports above 1000%, even though it is only in the 16th position in the table among Chinese manufacturers. However, with an increasingly extensive range, under normal conditions, the trend will intensify in 2026.
