Oliver Bearman revela ‘decepção’ em sua primeira corrida de Fórmula 1.

Oliver Bearman made a swift entry into the world of Formula 1 and concluded it positively. The debut of the young Englishman at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix caught the attention of the Formula 1 community. At just eighteen years old, Bearman delivered an exceptional performance, finishing the race in seventh place. As a reserve driver for Ferrari and a member of PREMA in F2, this rising star expressed disappointment with the impressive weekend.

During the week of the Saudi Arabian GP, Bearman fell ill but decided to persevere and took part in FP1 and FP2. After the second free practice session, Sainz Jr. suffered intense pain and underwent an appendicitis surgery at the hospital. Bearman stepped in for him starting from FP3. Due to the lack of time to familiarize himself with the car, Bearman was unable to participate in Q3, which was a major disappointment for him.

Despite the circumstances surrounding his debut, the modest Englishman shared that he was initially surprised to receive the invitation to compete in F1. He acknowledged that he would have preferred to debut under different circumstances, but is grateful for the opportunity.

Oliver Bearman made history at the Saudi Arabian GP by becoming the youngest British driver to debut in Formula 1. Currently driving for PREMA in Formula 2 and serving as a reserve driver for Ferrari and HAAS, Bearman has already shifted his focus to F2 next week and does not want to dwell too much on his impressive F1 debut.

Due to the last-minute invitation from Ferrari, Bearman was unable to participate in the sprint race or the main race in F2. This resulted in a significant loss for the young talent, as he did not score any points during the weekend, placing him in last position in the standings. Oliver Bearman now aims to make a comeback and secure the top position in Formula 2.
