Rookie Sensation Oliver Bearman Praises Haas Team Amidst F1 Driver Turmoil

Bearman’s F1 journey kicked off in a remarkable fashion when he made his debut with Ferrari in Saudi Arabia last season, filling in for Carlos Sainz who underwent emergency surgery. Despite the challenging conditions at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, Bearman delivered a mature and measured performance, finishing in an impressive seventh place.
Reflecting on his debut race and the expectations it set for rookie drivers, Bearman acknowledged the unique challenges he faces at Haas compared to his experience with Ferrari. “Cars that are higher up the grid are easier to drive,” Bearman explained. “There’s a bit more robustness in the aero platform of the car and therefore less prone to mistakes.”
