Norris critica fortemente comentários negativos sobre ‘Lando No-wins’

Lando Norris ends the constant criticisms he has faced throughout his career with a long-awaited victory in Formula 1. Norris held the unfortunate record for most podiums without a win, but that is now a thing of the past after his triumph at the Miami Grand Prix. It is worth noting that his first victory should have come much earlier, at the 2021 Russian Grand Prix, but a sudden rain ruined his hopes. This led to unfair accusations that Norris could not perform well under pressure. However, his victory in Miami proved his critics wrong and brought a smile to his face.

Looking back at the period between the 2021 Russia race and now, Norris acknowledges that there were missed opportunities, including pole positions and podiums. He is highly critical of himself for making mistakes in qualifying. However, he firmly believes that he never wasted a chance to win a Grand Prix. While he may have missed out on a podium or second place, he was always in contention for the win. Norris never lost faith in his abilities and always believed in what he could achieve.

A race that comes to mind for Norris’s critics is the 2021 Sochi Grand Prix. Many remember him staying out on slick tires while Lewis Hamilton made a pit stop, which ultimately cost him the victory as the rain intensified. However, it was a misjudgment by McLaren, not Norris, that led to this result. The team did not anticipate a second, more intense and aggressive rain, leaving Norris without the necessary information to make an informed decision. McLaren takes responsibility for this mistake and acknowledges that they were not prepared as a team to secure the win. However, they have learned from this experience and have made improvements since then.

Norris came close to victory on several occasions, finishing second to Max Verstappen seven times in the past year. All he needed was a bit of luck on his side, but that never materialized until the Miami Grand Prix. This win lifted a weight off Norris’s shoulders, as well as the McLaren team. They were under pressure to deliver a winning car, especially for Norris, and finally achieved that goal. Norris’s victory is a testament to his readiness and the team’s efforts.

Despite a challenging weekend in Miami, with disappointing performances in the sprint qualifying and a collision in the sprint race, Norris managed to regroup and deliver an excellent performance in the grand prix. Although it was not a flawless weekend, Norris’s approach and development throughout the season paid off. He improved his qualifying performances and showed maturity in managing the races. Norris learned to pace himself and make the most of the opportunities that come his way. His ability to extract the most from the car has been impressive.

Overall, Norris’s victory in Miami is the result of his perseverance, team improvements, and a better approach to races. He silenced his critics and proved that he has what it takes to win in Formula 1. Norris’s victory is a significant milestone in his career, and he is confident that more success will come.
