Norris reconhece desafio da McLaren à Red Bull.

Lando Norris, the British driver from McLaren, celebrated his second place in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix alongside the race winner, Lando Norris. The event of the Formula 1 World Championship took place on May 19, 2024, at the Imola circuit in Italy.

Usually known for his pessimistic view on McLaren’s chances, Norris has now changed his mind after a series of impressive results. He believes McLaren has the potential to challenge Red Bull in every race. Despite trailing Max Verstappen for most of the race in Imola, Norris managed to close the gap and finish just seven tenths of a second behind him.

Before the race, Norris thought McLaren was the third fastest team. However, his perspective changed after the event. He acknowledged the team’s strong performances, including a second place in China. Norris believes McLaren is extracting the maximum performance from the car and is on the right path to success.

Last season, McLaren was often considered the best of the rest, but Norris recognizes that many doubted their ability to match Red Bull’s pace. He credits the team for their hard work and improvement. Although McLaren is not yet at Red Bull’s level, Norris remains positive about the team’s prospects. He acknowledges that there are areas where Red Bull is stronger, but also areas where McLaren has made progress. Norris is looking forward to future races where McLaren can be even more competitive and continue to challenge Red Bull.
