Noah Gragson has faced a whirlwind of ups and downs, but after completing his first full NASCAR Cup Series season, he has laid the foundation for a brighter future. Driving the No. 10 for Stewart-Haas Racing, Gragson’s 2024 campaign delivered moments of promise, resilience, and growth—ultimately paving the way for a fresh chapter with Front Row Motorsports in 2025.

Finding His Footing in 2024

Gragson’s season saw him finish 24th in the championship standings, with seven top-10 finishes and an average result of 21.6. It was a season of learning as he tackled tracks he had never raced on before, all while operating under the pressure of an uncertain future.

Reflecting on the year, Gragson expressed gratitude for the opportunity given to him by Tony Stewart and Gene Haas, who brought him back into NASCAR after a tumultuous 2023. “I think getting an opportunity for next year, with everything going away, the goal was to just get back on the map,” he said.

The 26-year-old had initially burst onto the scene in the Xfinity Series, winning 13 races across four seasons and building a reputation as one of the sport’s brightest young talents. However, his rise was marred by controversy in 2023, when he was suspended by NASCAR and Legacy Motor Club after liking an insensitive meme on social media. That dark chapter left Gragson sidelined until Stewart-Haas Racing gave him a second chance for 2024.

The Highs and Lows of 2024

Gragson’s year began with promise. The No. 10 team notched five top-10 finishes in the first 12 races, positioning him as an early standout for Stewart-Haas. But as the season progressed, rule changes and performance struggles began to take their toll.

Despite these challenges, Gragson ended the year as Stewart-Haas Racing’s second-highest-ranked driver in the standings, behind Chase Briscoe, who secured a postseason spot with a thrilling win in the regular-season finale.

“For myself personally, I’m not content and I’m not satisfied,” Gragson admitted. “But I’m confident to say I feel like I have somewhat earned an opportunity to race on Sundays.”

Gragson also emphasized his personal growth throughout the season. “There is still a long way to go, but I want to keep on growing. Last year … I don’t think we had a good run. Not one. It wasn’t fun. I’m having more fun.”

A New Chapter at Front Row Motorsports

In 2025, Gragson will join Front Row Motorsports as they expand to a three-car operation. While details about his car number, crew chief, and sponsors are still pending, the move represents a significant opportunity for both the team and the driver.

Front Row views Gragson as a talented and marketable asset, someone who can inject energy into their organization. Meanwhile, Gragson brings experience, perspective, and a renewed appreciation for the sport.

“The people that I met and the experiences we’ve had … thinking back 20 years down the road, where I was at last year and how drastic my life has changed in the last 18 to 24 months,” Gragson said, reflecting on his journey.

The Road Ahead

Gragson’s rollercoaster ride through NASCAR’s top series has been marked by challenges, but his resilience and determination shine through. His second chance with Stewart-Haas laid the groundwork for his next opportunity with Front Row, where he’ll aim to further prove his worth.

For Gragson, the lessons learned from his highs in the Xfinity Series and his lows in the Cup Series have shaped him into a driver ready to make the most of every opportunity. As he looks to 2025, Gragson is poised to take another step forward—and his journey serves as a reminder that redemption and growth are always possible in NASCAR.
