Nissan is preparing a new generation of the Patrol, destined only for the Middle East market, and has now revealed new images of the model before its debut, which is scheduled for September 4th at an event in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
One of the most popular models of the Japanese brand promises to come with a more updated image, and for that, it is already known that it will have a “V-motion” grille with chrome horizontal elements and a modern honeycomb structure underneath. In addition, the vertical taillights are connected by an LED light strip with the Nissan logo located in the middle.
Nissan has already confirmed that in terms of engine, the new generation of the Patrol will replace the well-known V8 with a more efficient V6 engine, all indications pointing to the 3.5-liter block used by the Infiniti QX80.
Throughout its seven decades of history, the Patrol has long ceased to be a pure off-road vehicle and has become a premium SUV.
The current generation of the model launched in 2010 has undergone two updates, in 2014 and 2019. Now, with the new generation, only intended for the Middle East market, Nissan promises to take another step to consolidate the Patrol as the best model in its segment.
