Nissan Portugal inicia atividades inserida no grupo Salvador Caetano

The Nissan has just announced the beginning of a new chapter in its history in Portugal, now as an independent importer within the Salvador Caetano Group.

As part of this partnership, all national operations have been transferred to Salvador Caetano Auto as the new distribution partner for the national market.

This change is seen as a “crucial step for Nissan in Portugal”, and the new structure promises to provide a more agile and effective response to the needs of the Portuguese market, “allowing Nissan to be even more flexible and responsive to the needs of its customers and business partners”, according to Nissan’s statement.

One of the advantages of the transition now implemented is the decision to keep the same team that has led Nissan in Portugal, under the direction of José Botas. “With our dedicated team and the support of the Salvador Caetano Group, we are prepared to face any challenges that arise along the way. Therefore, we have set ambitious goals and are determined to achieve them, especially in key segments of the market, where Nissan is a pioneer and has accumulated unparalleled experience: crossovers and electric vehicles”, emphasized José Botas.

Sérgio Ribeiro, executive director of Salvador Caetano Auto, stated that “the main objective of this partnership is to support Nissan in implementing a more agile strategy, with a greater focus on the Portuguese market and with special attention to the needs of customers, which will always be our priority”.
