Nina Gademan’s thrilling contract extension with Alpine sparks fierce F1 Academy title ambitions for 2026

Alpine Racing Makes a Bold Move: Nina Gademan to Drive for MP Motorsport in 2026 F1 Academy Season!

In a thrilling announcement that has sent shockwaves through the motorsport community, the Alpine Formula 1 team has confirmed the continuation of its partnership with rising star Nina Gademan for the highly anticipated 2026 F1 Academy season. This dynamic Dutch driver, who previously showcased her talents with Prema Racing, is set to join the ranks of MP Motorsport, a team that has established itself as a formidable contender in the all-female racing series.

Gademan’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable. She wrapped up the 2025 season with a commendable sixth place in the standings, but the highlight of her year came when she clinched her maiden victory on the hallowed grounds of Zandvoort, thrilling her home crowd. Adding to her accolades, she captured three podium finishes, which included two third-place spots in Montreal and a stunning second-place finish at the season finale in Las Vegas.

“I’m really happy to be part of the MP Motorsport family for next year,” Gademan declared enthusiastically. “They have been strong performers in F1 Academy from the start, and it’s always an advantage to race with your home team.” With her sights set on the championship, she expressed confidence in her abilities, stating, “With the experience and circuit knowledge that I gained this year, I feel that I am ready to challenge for more wins and the title in 2026. The team and I aim to use the winter ahead to fully prepare ourselves for the season kick-off at Shanghai in March, when I hope you will see me fighting right at the front.”

Echoing Gademan’s excitement, MP Motorsport team principal Sander Dorsman couldn’t contain his enthusiasm about welcoming the talented racer. “We’re all excited to welcome Nina into the MP Motorsport fold for our 2026 F1 Academy line-up. She has been an incredible force in F1 Academy from the first moment she stepped into that wildcard seat, and proved to be one of our strongest rivals in last year’s series. I’m happy that she’s on our side from now!”

Dorsman highlighted the significance of having a Dutch driver on their team, emphasizing, “For us as a Dutch team, it always makes sense to sign a Dutch driver, but in this case, we are exceptionally pleased to team up with Nina. I’m confident that she will be fighting for more wins this year in what promises to be another strong F1 Academy season for us.”

The excitement builds as the 2026 F1 Academy season gears up to kick off in Shanghai, China, from March 13-15. With Nina Gademan at the helm of MP Motorsport, fans can expect a thrilling season filled with fierce competition, high-speed action, and, undoubtedly, more victories. Buckle up, motorsport enthusiasts—this season promises to be one for the history books!
