Nick Sanchez embarks on thrilling full-time NASCAR journey with AM Racing: a comeback story!

NASCAR SHOCKER: Nick Sanchez Lands Full-Time Ride with AM Racing for 2026 Season!

In a stunning turn of events that has sent shockwaves through the NASCAR community, Nick Sanchez is officially set to take the wheel of the No. 25 AM Racing Ford for the upcoming 2026 season. This unexpected partnership comes just days before the new racing year kicks off, and it's a narrative filled with twists, turns, and a dose of controversy!

After a promising debut year with Big Machine Racing, which included a thrilling victory at the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race in Atlanta, Sanchez found himself on the chopping block midway through the off-season. The abrupt decision to part ways left fans and pundits alike bewildered. “Unfortunate timing and circumstances, but it's strictly business,” Sanchez stated in response to his unexpected dismissal, as he was replaced by Patrick Staropoli behind the wheel of the No. 48 Chevrolet.

Meanwhile, AM Racing, which shocked everyone by making the playoffs as an underdog with Harrison Burton in 2025, was also embroiled in its own drama. The organization was on the verge of a major acquisition by Sigma Performance Services Racing (SPS Racing), but that deal spectacularly fell through in January. “While the transaction ultimately was not finalized, AM Racing will move forward independently and remain committed to competition in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series,” the team announced, signaling their determination to forge ahead against the odds.

Now, Sanchez and AM Racing have found common ground, culminating in a deal that many didn't see coming. With a solid 41 starts under his belt in the NOAPS and an impressive eleventh place finish in the 2025 driver standings, Sanchez is no stranger to competition. His accolades include not only his recent win at Atlanta but also two victories in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and a championship title in the 2022 ARCA Menard's Series.

As the 2026 season looms large on the horizon, all eyes will be on Sanchez and AM Racing to see if they can make waves and defy the skeptics. Will this new alliance ignite a fresh spark in Sanchez's career? Or will it be yet another chapter in the unpredictable saga of NASCAR? Buckle up, because this season is shaping up to be one for the history books!
