Porsche is determined to expand its presence in the world of video games beyond the world of motorsport and has announced a partnership with Blizzard Entertainment to bring special accessories to Overwatch 2, one of the world’s most popular action games.
With this partnership, Porsche aims to “showcase the brand’s elegant design in an unexpected and fun way.”
“The young and diverse Overwatch 2 community is very exciting for us as a brand,” said Deniz Keskin, Head of Brand Management and Partnerships at Porsche AG. “Overwatch 2 offers a sophisticated background story and players can easily identify with the characters, which was an important factor for us to create a collaboration between Porsche and Blizzard and tell a story inspired by the new fully electric Macan.”
The new Porsche-designed accessories for Overwatch 2 will be launched this spring and one of them will be inspired by the new 100% electric Macan, it is a robot that makes use of the new Porsche shield, as well as lighting units inspired by the Macan.
Remember that Overwatch 2 is a video game available for PC, as well as for gaming consoles Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
