Nio recently unveiled its new ET9, a high-end 100% electric vehicle that has so far only been launched in the Chinese market and has proven to be a true sales success, despite a price of around €103,000.
The new model from Nio arrived on the market with a special launch edition, the First Edition, limited to 999 units that sold out in less than 24 hours, with customers set to receive the new high-end ET9 starting in March.
Based on the NT 3.0 platform, the new ET9 measures 5.32 meters in length, 2.01 m in width, and 1.62 m in height, using a 900 Volt electric architecture.
The ET9 is equipped with two electric motors that deliver a combined power of 697 hp and a torque of 780 Nm, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.
Powering the two electric motors is a 100 kWh battery that promises a range of over 640 km, according to Chinese CLTC standards, and a maximum charging power of 600 W, allowing for a recovery of 250 km of range in about 5 minutes.
