New Mitsubishi Colt arrives in Portugal

Novo Mitsubishi Colt chega em novembro

The Mitsubishi has just launched in the national market the new Colt, a model that marks the return of the Japanese brand to the competitive B segment, with a starting price of €18,490.

After the ASX, the successor to the Captur, the latest generation of the Colt arrives on the market, an emblematic name for the Japanese brand due to its long history (the original model was launched in 1962), which was absent from the market for almost a decade, but in this interpretation, it is nothing more than a replica of the Clio with some specific details.

In the modern and elegant style of the new Colt, the front end stands out, incorporating elements of Mitsubishi Motors’ Dynamic Shield design language, where the iconic Mitsubishi three-diamond logo and the design of its LED daytime running lights stand out, giving it a unique light signature. At the rear, the Colt logo and Mitsubishi lettering help solidify the model’s strong personality.

The interior continues the exterior style, with a choice of materials that accentuate its character and a clear focus on connectivity, highlighting the infotainment system with a 7″ or 9.3″ central touch screen (depending on the equipment levels); the instrument panel with a 7″ display (10″ in variants equipped with the Digital Driver Display digital instrument panel); or the optional Bose sound system with nine speakers.

The new Mitsubishi Colt is available in Portugal with three equipment levels – Kyoto, Invite, and Launch Edition – and two engines. The entry-level version, associated with the Kyoto equipment level, is equipped with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder multipoint injection gasoline engine, paired with a five-speed manual transmission, delivering 65 hp of power and 95 Nm of torque. This powertrain has emissions of 118 g/km and a combined fuel consumption of 5.2 liters/100 km, according to the WLTP standard.

In the next level of the range, with the Invite and Launch Edition variants, the Colta features a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder MPI-T engine, with 90 hp of power and a maximum torque of 160 Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and promises a combined consumption of 5.2 liters/100 km and emissions of 117 g/km, according to the WLTP standard.

All prices for the new Mitsubishi Colt:

Version – Price

Kyoto – €18,490

Invite – €21,450

Launch Edition – €22,600
