Mazda continues to work on the renewal of the CX-5, a model that, about nine years after the launch of its second generation, is now preparing to receive an important update.
The Japanese brand has already announced that the third generation of the CX-5 will offer an internally developed hybrid engine, as well as a set of other improvements.
Now, “Cochespias” has published an image showing the final look of the SUV, without any camouflage, ahead of the launch expected in the last quarter of 2025.
From the revealed image, it is easy to see that the new CX-5 will maintain extensions on the wheel arches, while being equipped with a relatively longer hood, giving it a sportier profile. The bumper appears to have been redesigned, probably with the aim of emphasizing the width of the new CX-5 and giving the SUV a more assertive appearance.
Also noteworthy is the lighting signature, which features new headlights that extend to the grille, which has a new pattern and more discreet chrome details.
Inside, everything indicates that Mazda will equip the new generation of the CX-5 with more technology and better materials, inspired by the new Mazda 6, and it is expected that the renewed SUV will come with an infotainment system equipped with a 14.6’’ screen.
